McCall has dropped one bottle from his day and so happily replaced it with Drinkable yogart!! Wow he love his Danimals!! He is so good with a straw. He has also switched his formula from a bottle to a sippy cup...He is growing up in front of my eyes..where does the time go?
We went swimming on Friday at the YMCA before the ice hit. McCall and Mommy had a blast. He enjoyed holding onto mommy's back while we swam laps and "jumping into the pool" For those of you who know me well, we practiced all four strokes and a couple of flip turns :)
Yesterday McCall learned just how good Granny's cooking is! He loved chicken pot pie for Sunday lunch. He loved it so much that he ate it for dinner last night and took some for lunch to school today. So much for Mommy and Daddy getting the left overs! :)

I'm back!
Watching Julie and Julia just inspired me to update the blog. If she can do it..so can I..right? I have decided that it is the pictures that make me slack on updating. So you if begin to notice a lack of pics you will have to visit Scott's facebook page. Who knows maybe one day I will break down an get my own page.
So much has happened since the last blog. It is a new year for crying out loud! In an attempt to catch up here is McCall's latest in a nutshell...
October 31:
Halloween Day McCall was dressed as the cutest giraffe that you have ever seen. Today was the first day he sat up alone. 5 months old.
November 5:
McCall wasted no time learning to crawl..well scoot all over everywhere. He enjoys the army crawl but moves independently anywhere he wants to go.
November 25th:
On Thanksgiving day McCall enjoyed mashed potatoes with gravy, greenbeans, and turkey (from a jar) with all of us. He is such a great eater and is drinking from a straw and a cup all by himself.
December 7:
McCall sat on the curb with Mommy, Daddy, Gram, Gramps, and Jeni watching the entire Greenville Christmas parade. He loved the music, bands, dancers, animals, and SANTA!!
December 14:
McCall was Santa Claus in his school Christmas parade. The cutest Santa you have ever seen! I hope you all have been good this year.
Dcember 25:
McCall's first Christmas was a hit! He received so many great presents. He loved opening them and playing with the tissue paper. Santa brought him a swing and a play mat. Thanks to everyone for making this day so special!!
January 1, 2010:
Happy New Year! McCall, Scott, and I rang in the New Year asleep by 10:00. What party poopers. We enjoyed New Years Day food with Gram, Gramps, and Jeni. McCall loves black eyed peas and mashed potatoes. He is up for a lot of "change" this year...and speaking of change.....
He is crawling like a big boy! 7 months old. All over the place and pulling up on everything. He goes up the stairs independently and pushes his toy truck all the way across the floor..walking. He changes so much every day. It is truly amazing!
January 21:
McCall is 8 months old today. He continues to crawl everywhere and so fast. He pulls up on everything and is standing with minimal support. He is truly enjoying daycare. He has the best teachers and friends in his class. He spends the day exploring and flirting (I'm afraid).
January 23:
We are in Alabama visiting Nan and Papa (Scott's parents). McCall is having a blast. He traveled down here so well..staying right on schedule. He is moving from one room to the other faster than all 4 of us can keep up with him. Always smiling and always trying new things. I just caught him in the kitchen cabinet!
